Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been wed for a while. Stefani has frequently exclaimed over what an amazing stepfather her husband is, even though Shelton never had any biological children of his own.

She’s spoken about how well he gets along with her sons and the wonderful bond they’ve built since dating while doing filming for “The Voice.”

While many fans gushed about Shelton’s kind words for his wife as he talked about her talent and success, others noticed something else — how Stefani’s middle son looked like Shelton. One said:

“I know it’s impossible, but my husband and I were just saying the same thing!”

Some fans commented that Stefani’s middle son resembled Shelton, her youngest son looked like her but dressed like his stepfather, and her oldest son resembled his father. Stefani’s middle son, according to a fan, “completely” resembled Shelton, down to the dimples.

What Is Shelton Like As A Stepfather?

Shelton has accepted his role as the boys’ stepfather and even admitted that, ever since he wed Stefani, his career has suffered. He expressed his enjoyment of this new stage in his life.

He acknowledged how unsettling it was to serve as a role model for three young men, even though he has enjoyed being a father figure to the boys in his home. He admitted:

“That’s a scary moment for me because it’s one thing for me to be with the kids all the time and be their buddy, but you do have to consider after a while that they start to listen to things that you say and there’s a lot of responsibility that comes with that.”

However, he found the balance between being the boys’ buddy and being their stepfather and an authority figure in their lives. He has also begun doing everyday fatherly things like watching the boys’ sports matches.

In June last year, he and Stefani were seen attending Stefani’s son’s baseball game in Los Angeles. The pair looked relaxed and casual as they went to cheer the young man on.

Since the couple’s marriage in 2021, they have often been seen out with Stefani’s sons and look the picture of a happy family, with Shelton quickly getting along with Stefani’s boys.
