She Went To School With Taylor Swift And Said Everyone Hated Her: Here’s Why

I don’t think we need to tell anyone who Taylor Swift is. Her name is practically a household name, and we know both her and her music.

If I were to say the name Jessica McLane, however, you may not have the same level of recognition as you do for Taylor Swift. Despite the fact that you may not know her, however, she went to the same high school as Taylor Swift and that was long before she became a singing sensation.

According to McLane, Taylor Swift attended Hendersonville High School in Nashville, Tennessee. Swift was a junior at the time, and she moved into the area from her earlier home in Pennsylvania. She was there to pursue a country music career, and while she attended the public school, she released the song “Teardrops on My Guitar.” That song became a hit.

That is where the issues come in, and McLane talks about those problems in a viral TikTok video. She said that Swift was not the most popular person in the class and actually, many of her classmates hated her. It was all due to jealousy because of her success in the music industry.

More than 7.5 million people have viewed the video since it was released. She admits that she didn’t interact personally with Taylor all that frequently, but she did hear some of the rumors that were being spread about her family.

There were many people who were trying to break into the music industry because they were living so close to Nashville. Even if you weren’t trying to be a musician yourself, you likely knew somebody or were related to somebody who had an interest in a music career.

This competitiveness found its way over into high school, and there were plenty of young individuals who were also looking to start their careers in music. Taylor, on the other hand, seemed to have a head start and she was gaining some fame and notoriety at a very early age.

McLane also spoke about some of the men who were the inspiration for the songs that Taylor Swift wrote. She sometimes talked about their shortcomings as a boyfriend, and that drew a lot of sharp criticism.

Other people on TikTok also claimed to have gone to the same school and saw that Taylor Swift had some problems with jealousy during that time as well.

Swift may have tried to get back at them, however, because she invited the entire senior class to the Country Music Association Awards in 2009. That may have been a subtle jab at her former classmates.

It wasn’t long before Taylor Swift fans were coming out of the woodwork to defend her. They talked about her energy and how she gives everything on stage, but regardless, it is certainly possible that she went through some difficult times in high school. Many children did.

Regardless of the life she had when she was younger, she certainly is living a good life now.
