Rod Stewart Shows Some “Scottish Hospitality” With A Strange Tip To Hotel Staff

Most of us think about the music that Rod Stewart performs whenever we consider the singer. He has done everything from rock ‘n’ roll to the classics, and he always seems to entertain in the best way possible.

Rod Stewart is also an individual who enjoys traveling, as he does so for his work as well as for pleasure. Recently, he was staying at a hotel for Christmas and he provided a Christmas gift to the hotel staff that was totally unexpected.

Many people who are traveling during the holidays don’t give much thought to the fact that the hotel staff and others are there to provide them with the services they need day after day. In fact, many people just tend to ignore that altogether, but that wasn’t the case with Rod Stewart.

This year, he was staying in a hotel in Gleneagles and decided to give them a tip of £10,000. It really was an incredible way for him to show his appreciation for all that they had been doing for him.

He was asked about the tip that he gave and he replied with a very interesting statement. He said: “I’ve been lucky enough to stay in some of the top hotels in the world and the service at Gleneagles is second to none. The staff do a terrific job at a very hectic time of the year and deserve every penny. It’s Scottish hospitality at its very best.”

So, the next time you think about Rod Stewart, you may look beyond the music and think about the man who has a very kind heart. He shared a gift that was beyond amazing and then went on Instagram to share a picture of his family for the world to enjoy.
