The 35-year-old singer was electrocuted when a fan, who was drenched in water, hugged him during the performance. The tragic incident occurred in Salinopolis, Brazil, leaving everyone present in disbelief.

Off the stage, Ayres Sasaki was an accomplished architect and urban planner. Sadly, he leaves behind his wife, Mariana, whom he had been married to for just 11 months. The tragic loss of the talented performer has deeply saddened his friends and colleagues. They remember him as a highly skilled musician who had an immense passion for his craft.

Adriano Freitas, a close friend and fellow singer, spoke highly of Ayres, saying, “We were friends beyond music. He was super charismatic, incredibly talented, and the best singer and guitarist in Belem. He was a great friend, devoted to his family, and a loyal companion to those who appreciated his work.”

Ayres Sasaki’s remarkable dedication to his artistry earned him the title of “king of encores.” He once played continuously for an astounding 12 hours. Such dedication and love for music made him an unforgettable performer.

Reflecting on their friendship, comedian Natto Almeida emphasized Ayres’s kind-hearted nature and impeccable manners. “What will definitely stand out about Sasaki is his good heart and polite demeanor,” he said. “I believe this will be his lasting legacy.”
