Jason Aldean has found himself in the eye of the storm as the woke mob tries to cancel him for writing an anti-lynching country tune. “Try That In A Small Town” has garnered millions of plays and delighted fans of the artist but now the left is attacking Aldean, calling his new hit a pro-lynching rallying cry, among other heinous things.
Now, Jason’s wife Brittany has come to her husband’s defense, sharing an Instagram story admonishing the media for their soulless effort to come after the Aldeans. In a post, along with a picture of the couple sitting closely together, she said, “Never apologize for speaking the truth.”
Brittany wasn’t done there. She also posted an Instagram story that called out the media for the constant use of these shady tactics, saying, “Media… it’s the same song and dance. Twist everything you can to fit your repulsive narrative. How about instead of creating stories, we focus on the REAL ones such as CHILD TRAFFICKING? Food for thought.“
Jason Aldean hasn’t stayed quite either throughout this ordeal, not allowing the woke media to spin up stories about him without his own input. In a long Tweet, Aldean said, in part, “In the past 24 hours I have been accused of releasing a pro-lynching song (a song that has been out since May) and was subject to the comparison that I (direct quote) was not too pleased with the nationwide BLM protests.”
“These references are not only meritless, but dangerous. There is not a single lyric in the song that references race or points to it- and there isn’t a single video clip that isn’t real news footage -and while I can try and respect others to have their own interpretation of a song with music- this one goes too far.”
