When Kevin Robert Clark was born in 1983, he was the largest infant in the world at the time, weighing a staggering 7.2 lbs.
Patricia Clark had a premonition during her pregnancy with Kevin that the baby would be large due to a family history of large infants. But she was nonetheless taken aback by how massive he turned out to be.
After bringing Kevin home from the hospital, Patricia and her family discovered that he was too big for a standard cot and that all of his clothes were too tiny.
Kevin was already taller than most individuals at the age of 12 and weighed more than 152 pounds. Kevin recalls how difficult it was to find clothes and shoes that fit him properly when he was a child due to his rapid growth. His constant need for new clothes made life difficult for both him and his family.
