All of Celine Dion’s Courage World Tour dates have been postponed.

The disappointing news that Celine Dion was postponing the final 42 dates of her Courage World Tour was announced last week.

The Love Again star then posted a heartfelt statement with the following message: “I’m very sorry to disappoint all of you once again. Even when you’re 100% healthy, touring can be really challenging, so I’m working extremely hard to regain my strength.”

“It’s not fair to you to keep canceling the events, and even if it pains me to do so, it’s essential that we do so right away until I’m truly prepared to return to the stage. I want everyone to know that I won’t give up. and I’m eager to see you once more.”

Since then, Celine’s sons have been supporting her through the challenging period. They have revealed that, aside from performing, her sons are her main priority. They have also said that her sons provide her with all the love and support she needs and serve as her beacon of hope during this trying period.

Celine was diagnosed with stiff person syndrome after experiencing severe, ongoing back spasms that made it difficult for her to perform.

Stiff person syndrome is a very uncommon neurological condition.

Muscle rigidity in the arms and back is one of the signs of stiff person syndrome, which is frequently brought on by touch, noise, and mental strain. Muscle spasms characterize Celine’s illness.

People with stiff person syndrome frequently fall because they are unable to defend themselves with reflexes.

It affects twice as many women as it does men, and sufferers are frequently unable to walk or move.

The disorder’s source is unknown, and it’s frequently misdiagnosed as anxiety, phobia, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, or a psychosomatic sickness.

Despite the use of anticonvulsants, muscle relaxants, and anxiety medications, the illness has no known treatment.

Celine claimed that stiff person syndrome-related spasms had an effect on every facet of her everyday life. “They occasionally make it difficult for me to walk, which prevents me from using my vocal cords to sing as naturally as I used to.”

“I’m working hard with my sports medicine therapist every day to regain my strength and my ability to perform again, but I have to say it’s been difficult,” Celine said. “I have a great team of doctors working alongside me to help me get better,” Celine added.

Celine first disclosed in October 2021 that she would be postponing her Las Vegas performances due to health reasons, and she hasn’t performed since.

Celine was able to film her first feature film, in which she co-starred with Sam Heughan and Priyanka Chopra, despite being unable to perform.

Celine’s condition might be less agitated by acting in a movie because there are less likely to be unexpected noises to set off her stiff person syndrome.

Fans of Celine were overjoyed by the singer’s part in the movie and shared their excitement on social media.

“Her voice is very ageless, and she has her sassy/funny moments,” one person wrote. Another person added: “I think Celine’s acting is so good!”

“Love Again is a rom-com that will make you fall in love with Celine Dion all over again,” exclaimed a third.
