Mom leaves “baby” in car as she goes shopping at Target, promising others that he is safe

You can’t make a move publicly without it getting up on the internet.

The age of viral clips and tales is here, which means that embarrassing, amusing, and sometimes even private movies and photos of us may be uploaded and spread over the digital world in seconds.

While this may undoubtedly be exploited, it can also be used for good – for example, when people are called out for poor behavior.

I can only guess that’s what internet users thought was going on when an Instagram photo went viral in early March purporting to show a note presented by a woman who had left her infant in the car to go shopping at Target.

Is that enough to halt the heart? Don’t be alarmed; there’s more to this story than meets the eye.

Influencer Bonnie Engle uploaded a reel on Instagram in March, and it quickly went viral. The video has received millions of views and over 1,000 comments since it was posted.

The video features a close-up of a handwritten message pasted inside a car window that reads, “My baby is OK. He’s got some snacks and a drink! I’m in Target right now. “I’ll be back soon!”

The note alone sent shockwaves through a substantial number of those who saw the video.

Those willing to give the film a chance quickly discovered that Engle isn’t so much a bad mother as a naughty spouse. The camera pans back seconds after the close-up above on the letter in the window, revealing that Engle’s baby in the car isn’t a baby at all… instead, it’s her husband.

“Please no judgment,” the influencer captioned the Instagram video. He is safe and sound.”

Her husband is seen inside the vehicle, munching on popcorn.

Fortunately, viewers in the comments section recognized Bonnie’s clip as amusing.

“My heart dropped, and then I LMAO,” one user said.

“It’s so much easier to leave them in the car,” added another.

“I was about to lose it for a second… “I wasn’t expecting that,” a third person commented.

According to sources, most of Engels’ content is amusing and well-suited to parents who can connect to the day-to-day stresses of children.

This video has a funny element, but it’s always important to recognize the dangers of leaving children (or pets) in hot cars.
