Being naked around family members might seem unusual for most people, but for Molly Manning and her teenage son, it’s part of their normal routine.
Of course, everyone is free to wear (or not wear) whatever they like in the privacy of their own home, but Molly, an adult film star, has sparked controversy over her decision to embrace nudity while raising her son.
Molly, who originally lived in Perth, Australia, moved to Los Angeles to start a new career on OnlyFans.
She had been struggling financially in her home country, so she turned to the adult content platform to make ends meet.
What started as an attempt to make a living grew into something much bigger.

Molly eventually ventured into mainstream pornography, which, as she describes, provided her with a “comfortable life.”
Reflecting on her journey, Molly shared, “As a single mum I was struggling to get employed and a lot of people said to me – ‘hey, you should do OnlyFans’.
“I really didn’t know much about it, so I was going in very blindly and I didn’t really know what to do. Then eventually I just kind of thought, well, you know what? I’m in Los Angeles.
“I’m already shooting porn on my OnlyFans, I may as well start shooting mainstream porn. I probably should have done it sooner, but I was too worried about what other people thought.
“I’ve only got one life and I’m comfortable with myself, my son’s comfortable, so I don’t care what other people think.”
While Molly’s success in the adult industry has given her financial security, it’s her approach to parenting and sex education that has divided opinions.
Molly has admitted that she walks around her home naked in front of her son and even engages in conversations with him while nude.
Addressing the reasoning behind her choice, Molly said, “I’m very comfortable with my sexuality. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t have a problem occasionally walking around naked.
“My son will have a conversation with me and I’ll be topless or getting dressed; just because I’m naked doesn’t mean it’s sexual, that’s the viewers’ mentality.
“I’m very liberal in regards to nudity and there’s nothing sexual about me being naked at home.”
She went on to explain that in her view, seeing nudity at home should be a healthy part of a child’s development.
“The reality of it is, if a child can’t see a naked female or male at home and that be their first point of reference for nudity, then there’s something wrong.
“I mean, if a child is having to look online to see a nude body, then I think there’s something wrong, because there’s a very good chance it will be a super sexualised image.”
Molly’s perspective has certainly caused a stir, with some people supporting her liberal views on nudity and openness, while others find her approach to parenting unconventional.
