Love is limitless, and it frequently finds a way to surprise us in the most bizarre and unanticipated ways. This was the situation for a woman who was a mother of three and had to endure a lifetime of abuse and criticism owing to the way she looked.

Karine de Souza never gave up optimism that she would have a prosperous future for herself, even in the face of nasty insults and social isolation. It was a choice that a guy made to contact her after hearing her tale, and it was a choice that ended up transforming their lives completely.

Karine de Souza did not have an easy existence by any stretch of the imagination. She was diagnosed with Xeroderma Pigmentosum, an extremely uncommon skin disorder when she was only three years old. Her condition left her susceptible to developing skin cancer.

Even though the curtains were drawn, she still needed to apply sunscreen with a factor of 100 every two hours. This was necessary for her protection. Because of this, Karine spent a lot of her time shutting off from the rest of the world.

She was subjected to harassment and mockery by members of her community who failed to comprehend her illness, and she had the impression that she was an outcast in her community.

Karine was under the impression that she would never be lucky enough to achieve romantic fulfillment. She had been shunned her whole life and was under the impression that no one could ever embrace her for who she really was. Yet the hands of destiny had other things in store for her.

The moment she connected with Edmilson on social media was a turning point in her life. This is what the lady disclosed:

“He gave me a friend request, and I accepted it, but I didn’t understand that I was going to meet the great [love] of my life until it was too late.”

Edmilson was not like the other kids. Because of her narrative and her strength, he was pulled to Karine. He saw something in her that he had never seen before: resilience and resolve.

They began going out together, but their happiness quickly waned as they were subjected to a barrage of criticism and scrutiny from other people.

Several people had doubts about the sincerity of their relationship, and some went so far as to say that Edmilson was only with Karine because of her wealth. Others insulted her by calling her names like “monster,” “deformed,” and “zombie,” as well as calling her names.

Karine is aware that life can be challenging, but she also understands that having the support and love of others can make all the difference. And because Edmilson is by her side, she is confident that she is able to handle anything that may be thrown her way.
