GREAT TRAGEDY THIS MORNING:

After the crash of a passenger plane in Kazakhstan, which was traveling from Baku to Grozny with 72 people, information appeared about the cause of the accident. Namely, as Azerbaijani media reports, the plane ran into a flock of birds.

Later there was information that the plane was diverted to Makhachkala airport due to thick fog, but the accident occurred only three kilometers from Aktu airport.

According to initial information, the number of survivors is greater than 10. The first injured were admitted to the hospital.

Azerbaijan’s consul general in Aktu, Aykan Suleimanli, said they “can’t say anything” for now.

“Our employees are there and I’m on my way. We can’t say anything for sure. “We don’t know anything right now,” he said.
