Woman Calls Out ‘Deeply Offensive’ Target Sweater: Target Tells Her To Get Over It

If there is one thing that we have come to learn about people, it’s the fact that they enjoy having a voice. They like discussing what is on their mind and if they are offended about somebody or something, they will just discuss it even louder.

The problem with many of the people who argue over trivial matters is the fact that they are not going to get anywhere with their arguments. Just as they are passionate about what they have the say on their side of the argument, other people are passionate on the other side of the argument and you rarely ever win over the other side.

In recent years, we’ve seen a lot of this with people who talk about being offended by something that they see in the store. Target has been the target of this recently, as they are selling a product that was meant to be funny but some people are not laughing.

Reign Murphy saw the sweater in Target and decided she couldn’t let it go. She posted a video on Twitter, saying how offended she is by the design of the T-shirts the target is selling.

She goes on to talk about how the sweater is completely inappropriate and she took a picture of the sweater so everyone could see it. On the front of the shirt, it is written: “OCD Christmas obsessive-compulsive disorder.”

According to Murphy, she was upset because the message is offensive to people who suffer from OCD.

I will admit that OCD is a very serious condition and it affects the lives of many people. She was obviously upset over the situation, and she was hoping to get a little Internet love and backing for what she had to say.

Just as there are many people who would probably be offended by this sweater because they have OCD, there are also many people with OCD who would not feel offended by the message. They just understand the humor behind it and move on with life.

Often, these situations don’t go very far but in this case, a Target representative named Jessica Carlson came out with a public apology. She said that Target was sorry for those who were offended by the product but she also said they are going to continue to sell the product.

Target will sell the product because it wasn’t intended to be offensive. They feel that there is no reason to pull it off of the shelves.

If there’s one thing that we know about clothing brands and what people wear, it’s the fact that you can’t please all the people all the time. While I’m sure that this woman will continue to be offended, she will just have to turn the other way if she plans on continuing to shop at Target.
