There may be times when our children say something to us and we don’t give it much thought. As Tiffany Floyd is about to tell you, however, it’s important to listen to them because they just may be telling you something important.
Tiffany was in Western New York and stopped at a Burger King to get her 4-year-old daughter a meal. It seemed like a rather straightforward process, but things didn’t go well.
Not long after she handed her child the meal, her daughter said: “Mom, I don’t want ketchup.” Her mother thought that they had messed up the order but when she looked in the bag, there was blood everywhere.
According to Tiffany, her daughter had eaten a few French fries and taken a bite out of the cheeseburger before she realized that there was ‘ketchup’ on the meal. Even Floyd thought it was ketchup at first, but then she realized it was blood.
When Tiffany called the fast food chain to speak to the manager, he told her that an employee had cut their hand prior to putting the food in the bag. She said: “He was so nonchalant at this point and I was livid.”
To add insult to injury, the only thing he did was offer her a refund. That is when she got in touch with the local health department but even they said nothing much could be done.
Burger King has since admitted that it closed that location for several days to undergo deep cleaning and retrain the employees. Despite that fact, Tiffany is still very upset over the situation, as I’m sure all of us would be.
