We have heard a lot recently about DNA tests associated with sports. Typically, these have to do with gender but it is not the only reason why a test may be recommended.
Many people who have been watching the Olympics in 2024 are now asking for a DNA test from Ethan Katzberg. He is representing his country in the hammer throw, and viewers have many questions.
This doesn’t have anything to do with his gender but rather, Olympic viewers are asking for the DNA test because they are concerned about his heritage. When you look at Ethan, you see that he has long, wavy, dirty blonde hair. He is also very athletic and has a thick mustache.
When most people see someone who looks similar to this, the first thing that comes to their mind is the country of Australia. Ethan, however, is representing Canada in Paris at the 2024 Olympics.
Ethan has also done quite well for the Canadian team. He won a gold medal by throwing the hammer 84.12 m. That got him some attention, but many are saying he couldn’t possibly be from Canada with the way that he looks.
As humans, we tend to judge people by what we see on the outside. It’s human nature, but it also is fraught with problems. That is the case with Ethan.
Even though he doesn’t look Canadian, it doesn’t take much research on the Internet to find out that he was born in British Columbia, so he is Canadian.
He is also well-suited for this sport, as he won the gold.
