If there is one thing we are aware of, it’s the fact that people have their own opinions. They will often share those opinions with you, whether you want to hear them or not.
People also have opinions about their own personal likes and dislikes and they may not go on and on about them, but it is easy to see. After all, people will wear the clothes that they like and eat the food that they like.
Recently, Amal Clooney (46) was on vacation with her husband, 63-year-old George Clooney. The two of them were enjoying their time in Europe and she was out wearing a nice little floral patterned dress.
Obviously, she enjoyed the look of the dress, or else she wouldn’t have been wearing it. Many people on the Internet, however, were not all that friendly when it came to their comments.
The look was nice enough, with a soft floral dress, a white handbag, and a pair of open-toed heels. It was a vintage look, which is why some people were posting unfriendly comments in the comment section.
Vogue seems to approve of the look because they are the ones who share the picture of her and George out on vacation. They also captioned it: “Quiet luxury? Amal Clooney doesn’t know her. The reigning queen of European vacation style has returned to the continent to defend her crown, kicking off the summer with a vintage piece originally featured in Versace’s spring 2004 collection.”
Although the dress was from a well-known designer in a nice collection, most people didn’t recognize the charm and were not very impressed. In fact, one commenter called it ‘childish and cheap.’
Others tried to be a little more safe with their comments, expressing their appreciation for her as a person but tearing her down for the dress she wore. This was seen in a comment: “Amal looks great, the dress is tacky and tasteless.”
I guess you can please some of the people some of the time but you can’t please all of the people all the time.
