There is no prouder moment for any parent than the moment they are told that their children are exactly like them. You can almost see their chest puffing out with pride as they realize that they pass their genetics on in a profound way.
Of course, you will see a family resemblance in almost any child but there are going to be times when the resemblance goes beyond what is typically seen. We have examples of it in the following pictures when children look almost identical to their parents.
You might call them a chip off the old block, a doppelgänger, or you may make up your own funny saying. In any case, it just means that the children looks like you and there is no better complement.
