There may be many traditions we enjoy once Christmas comes around but one of our favorites is sitting down and watching a movie. There are so many great classics to choose from, sometimes it can be difficult to pick one and watch it.
For many, Home Alone is the movie of choice and they may have watched it and its sequel many times over the years. When Kevin gets left at home and has to defend the family home from the bad guys, it is something that never gets old.
Like you, there are millions of other people who watch Home Alone and they may have seen it many times in their lives. This includes some fans that are not only enjoying the show, they are looking for something new to make it interesting.
Ever since it came out in 1990, there have been those who watch it and look for mistakes. Sometimes, they might even look for a theory that was hidden from others. It’s always interesting to hear.
This year, they have also discovered something interesting and we never thought about it before. They are calling it a mistake because once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
In one scene, Kevin is bringing home groceries in two plastic bags. At one point, both bags open up at the same time and everything spills onto the ground. How did he do that?
If you look closely, you can see that he is actually holding onto strings that keep the bag together. He releases the strings at the same time, giving it the illusion that both bags broke at the same time.
Even though some are calling this a mistake, it was well done. After all, it took over 30 years before someone brought this to our attention. You can see it in this video.
