I’m sure that you have heard that beauty is only skin deep, and there is a lot of truth to that statement. It’s important for us to judge people, not only by what we see on the outside but by what is on the inside as well. It’s just not as easy to see.
There are times, however, when we do want to consider the beauty that is outside, and 10-year-old Thylane Blondeau came to that realization. She was so physically beautiful when she was 10 years old and she was given the title, ‘the most beautiful girl in the world.’
Thylane is the child of Patrick Blondeau and Véronika Loubry. You may know the name Patrick because he was a famous football player.
From the time she was young, Thylane was a model. When she was up-and-coming, she was recognized for her beauty but over the years, her beauty continued to transform and it was captured in pictures.
Thylane wasn’t part of beauty pageants or any other type of contest such as that, but she was still recognized for her beauty. It was easy to see because of her striking features and modeling agencies were after her from a young age.
When she was born in 2001, she started on her journey in life and was asked to be part of a fashion presentation when she was only four years old. It wasn’t long before modeling agencies were after her for more.
She was also part of a Vogue magazine spread in 2010 that was rather controversial. She spoke about young girls and how they used too much makeup and the premature sexualization of youth.
She was also able to use her influencer status to create a fashion and beauty brand. After getting into the film industry, she appeared in ‘Belle et Sébastien’ and later was a representative for L’Oreal.
The time that she spent in front of the camera has had an impact on her and we often wonder how children are impacted by fame.
It may provide a degree of financial or social stability, but there are also challenges that they must face along the way. Sometimes, it can make it difficult for them to face the complexities of life.
Undoubtedly, being open to criticism at a young age can stunt a child’s psychological growth. They may need counseling to get beyond it, but it is possible.
We wish this young woman many more years of happiness and success.
