I can only imagine the amount of unrelenting pressure most celebrities live their lives trying to deal with.
Criticism regarding one’s work is inevitable and, at times perhaps, even acceptable. Obviously no artist is going to create something that’s universally loved every time, just as entertainers are going to have bad nights once in a while.
Yet while fans expressing such opinions is part and parcel of being a high-profile individual, by this day and age I think we can all agree we hoped we’d be above personal attacks or trolling online.

Sadly, we’re not, and the internet has done a tremendous job of effectively serving as a megaphone in a town square with room for millions.
