I could not imagine going up against Ozzy Osbourne and for that matter, his wife, Sharon, would be difficult to deal with when she was on a rampage as well. When they team up together, however, it is double trouble.
That is what Kanye West is experiencing, and he is doing it right as his album is about to drop. The 46-year-old rapper got people together for a listening party to debut his new album, including the single release, ‘Talking/Once Again.’
At the Party, West Played 12 Songs from the new album that has been available since February 10. after the party was over, Ozzy Osbourne went on Twitter and said that the musician had used an unauthorized sample of assault owned by Black Sabbath.
He said: “KANYE WEST ASKED PERMISSION TO SAMPLE A SECTION OF A 1983 LIVE PERFORMANCE OF “IRON MAN” FROM THE US FESTIVAL WITHOUT VOCALS. This is
“[HE] wWAS REFUSED PERMISSION BECAUSE HE IS AN ANTISEMITE AND HAS CAUSED UNTOLD HEARTACHE TO MANY,” the singer continued. “HE WENT AHEAD AND USED THE SAMPLE ANYWAY AT HIS ALBUM LISTENING PARTY LAST NIGHT. I WANT NO ASSOCIATION WITH THIS MAN!”
The song on the album, Carnival, is allegedly the one that uses the guitar riff from the black Sabbath song, Ironman.
Even Sharon Osborne was upset, and she went on Twitter to also share, ”
Welcome to the Carnival @kanyewest #permissionnotgranted #ironman.”
It also included the viral: “Hello… That’s my F***ing song”
Something else that really got some attention was when she told Kanye he had “f***ed with the wrong Jew this time.”
Sharon said that he stands by Ozzy and they went on to say, in no uncertain terms, that they wanted nothing further to do with him.
