When we think about Hollywood actors, we don’t always have the best idea of who they are. Sometimes, they may not leave a good impression and even if they do, it can get lost in the mix.

That isn’t how we feel about Matthew McConaughey, however, as he is one of the kindest actors in Hollywood. We have seen him acting in many different movies and have enjoyed getting to know him in this way, but there’s something about the actor that you may not know.

It turns out that Matthew McConaughey has a son who just turned 15 years old. Levi McConaughey is a chip off the old block, and he is proving it by writing something amazing to his father on Instagram.

The post was pulled up on The Jennifer Hudson Show, and Matthew was asked to read the kind words to the audience.

It said: “People know Matthew McConaughey as an actor and now a writer. But I know him as my father. The man who always makes time for us no matter what, the man who’s always there for us no matter what, and the man who taught me to appreciate the journey and not just the destination. The journey’s just getting started… Happy birthday, Papa.”

It was easy to see that Matthew really appreciated the kind words that his son said. I think that all of us appreciated it.
