After years of dealing with health issues, there is one battle Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have a strict plan for.

Years ago, when Sharon released her memoir, she stunned readers when she admitted she and Ozzy had a euthanasia pact. Now, she’s discussing that pact again.

During a recent episode of their family’s podcast, The Osbournes Podcast, Sharon and Ozzy’s son Jack asked if that was still the plan for them.

For context, Sharon and Ozzy created the pact after Sharon’s father, Don Arden died following a battle with Alzheimer’s disease, admitting dementia isn’t something either of them wish to live with. In 2007, Sharon told the Daily Mirror that they “believe 100 percent in euthanasia.”

Their plan is “to go to the assisted suicide flat in Switzerland if we ever have an illness that affects our brains. If Ozzy or I ever got Alzheimer’s, that’s it — we’d be off. We gathered the kids around the kitchen table, told them our wishes and they’ve all agreed to go with it.”

However, despite agreeing to their parents end-of-life wishes, it seems as though Jack and Kelly might still have their reservations.

After asking their parents if euthanasia was still their plan, Sharon responded to Jack, asking, “do you think that we’re gonna suffer?” To which, Jack added, “Aren’t we already all suffering?”

“Yes, we all are,” Sharon continued, “but I don’t want it to actually hurt, as well,” his mother added. “Mental suffering is enough pain without physical. So if you’ve got mental and physical, see ya.”

That’s when Kelly added, “But what if you could survive?”

“Yeah, what if you survived and you can’t wipe your own ass, you’re pissing everywhere, s—-ing, can’t eat,” Sharon retorted.

Last year, Ozzy seemingly ended a longtime health battle when he underwent a final back surgery.

During that time, he talked about how the anesthesiologist of a past surgery was forced to use four-times the amount of medication on him because his tolerance was so high.

Although clean and sober now, it’s unclear if his past drug will affect their end-of-life plans.

“I had a procedure when I was doing all this s***.

As the Mirror continued to report, Ozzy admitted he had a “recent brush with relapse,” but swears he’s still on the straight and narrow. It’s also unclear if his past drug use affected his most recent surgery at all.

“I got it and I thought what the *** have I bought that for,” Ozzy admitted, saying he purchased more than $600 worth of weed while in LA. “Four ounces? I just had Covid so I can’t smoke anyway. I’d had one of those thoughts ‘that would be good’. But I never smoked one.”

Ozzy continued to say it’s his family and his new found connection with them that’s helped keep him sober. “The thing that keeps me away from it now is I got real with me. One of the main reasons I have embraced my family is because I am not out of my ****ing face any more.”Now 73 years old, it seems like Ozzy is doing as well as he can be. Three years ago, Ozzy opened up about his battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
