Young woman was hospitalize

First Time Turned Nightmare

A young woman’s first sexual experience ended in a hospital after severe bleeding left her terrified.

“My knuckles were white as I gripped the hospital bed rail,” she recalled as nurses worked to stop the bleeding from internal tears caused by unprepared, painful sex.

Medical Emergency

Doctors told her she had tears on both vaginal walls from rough penetration.

She spent two nights in hospital and said, “I never want to have sex again,” until doctors reassured her that healthy sex shouldn’t hurt.

Cultural Pressure and Silence

Coming from a conservative South Asian family, she hid the incident, saying, “I didn’t want my parents knowing I’d had sex.”

Lesson and Awareness

She now advocates for better, pleasure-focused sex education so young women learn that “first-time sex isn’t meant to be painful” and that comfort, consent, and arousal matter most.
