When you live in the country, you never quite know what you will expect from one day to another. You might think that you will be left alone for the most part, but that isn’t accounting for some of the animals you may run into from time to time.

That is what one woman experienced when she stepped out onto her porch and called for her cat to come inside. It had started to rain and she called the feline, but she got unexpected guests instead.

After calling for the family cats, a couple of deer appeared on the slope of the hill behind the house. It looked as if they were just a little curious as to why the woman was making such noises.

Suddenly, a flock of turkey made their way to the area and began strutting across the front yard. They walked up the hill and past the deer, who continued to watch and wonder what was taking place.

This may seem a little strange to some but for those who live in the country, it’s something that takes place at any given time. You just need to get used to it and embrace the fact that you are in their space.
