Why You Should Always Put A Spoon Of Sugar In Your Backyard Before Leaving The House

Some of us dislike bees because we believe they simply irritate us. In actuality, these insects are progressively going extinct.

They are essential because these little insects provide 90 percent of the food for the world’s inhabitants. Supposedly, if we remove them from the ecology, we will be dealing with a serious catastrophe.

To respect the environment, one need not be a tree nut. We can perform some quite basic things to benefit the environment.

We can all work together to accomplish more than any one of us could alone. And it is our collective duty to take action to protect the natural environment for coming generations.

Since he can remember, zoologist and author Sir David Attenborough has fought for animals, the environment, and nature.

Everyone has to hear the important message that Attenborough, who is arguably best recognised for his work as a television presenter, has to share.

He said on Facebook:

“If bees were to disappear from the face of the earth, humans would have just 4 years left to live”

Although David Attenborough is not the first to send this dire warning to us, his message serves as a stark reminder that it is an actual problem that we should all take very seriously.

Although they are small, bees have a big job since they pollinate about 33% of the food humans eat.

According to David Attenborough:

“In the last 5 years, the bee population has dropped by 1/3”

Though the situation appears hopeless, there is something we can all do and a thought that is spreading like wildfire.

David Attenborough offers a straightforward advice item that each of us ought to try: Place a spoonful of sugar and water in your backyard after mixing them. Your life might actually be saved by it!

“This time of year bees can often look like they are dying or dead, however, they’re far from it. Bees can become tired and they simply don’t have enough energy to return to the hive, which can often result in being swept away.”

“If you find a tired bee in your home, a simple solution of sugar and water will help revive an exhausted bee.“

“Simply mix two tablespoons of white, granulated sugar with one tablespoon of water and place on a spoon for the bee to reach. You can also help by sharing this post to raise awareness.”

Here’s one more thing you can do to support the well-being of both bees and people: put flowers on your balcony. You could even let wildflowers take over a portion of your property. Local bees will absolutely like it!
