Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York on July 3 attracted widespread attention,
not only because of its celebrity guests but also due to the absence of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, who were once close friends of Swift.
The couple reportedly wore Christian Dior outfits and chose not to have bridesmaids or groomsmen.
The celebration also featured LED displays outside the venue, and actor Adam Sandler reportedly officiated.
According to US media, Lively and Reynolds were not invited because their friendship with Swift has changed.
Reports link the distance to Lively’s legal dispute with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni, although Swift has not been directly involved.
Sources claimed Swift wanted a smaller, trusted circle and described the change as “A turning point” rather than the result of one event.
One insider said Swift wanted to avoid “stressful energy” during the milestone.
While the wedding took place in New York City, Lively and Reynolds were reportedly in Lake Placid attending a horse-riding event for their daughter.
