Tourist Collapses After Being Bit By A King’s Guard Horse

We sometimes hear about tourists who get too close to the King’s Guards. In some cases, they may even be bitten by one of the horses.

A video has been circulating online that shows a woman who is bitten by one of the King’s Guard’s horses. He bites her so powerfully that she falls to the ground and faints.

Like many tourists in the area, she approached the horse to try to get a photo next to it. This isn’t unusual and many people are able to successfully get such a picture but it didn’t work out well for her.

When she got close to the horse the animal lunged in her direction and bit her arm. It’s interesting to note that this happened right in front of a sign that says: “Beware: Horses may kick or bite! Thank you.”

The horse bit her for a few seconds and loved ones ran up to check on her as she stumbled backwards. It seemed as if she was doing okay but she collapsed to the floor and a crowd gathered around.

Police were then called and they came to the scene to treat her for her injuries.

After the clip was posted to X, it went viral. It was captioned: “Tourist FAINTS after being bitten by a Kings Guard’s Horse after she attempted to pose for a photo.”

Some people were sympathetic for what she went through but others thought that she got what she deserved. They have signs in the area to warn people about the potential for being bitten, and as some mentioned, it’s funny how that works.

Tourists have been interested in the King’s Guard for quite some time. At one time, they were referred to as the Queen’s Guard and it’s not unusual for people to want to take a picture with them or the horses when they visit London.

The guards themselves are not allowed to interact with the public or pose for pictures. They stand in their spot without wavering.

Seems to me there’s a lesson to be learned here.
