Tom Selleck Finally Comes Clean About His True Feelings For Wife, Jillie Mack

When most people think about Tom Selleck, they automatically think about some of the many jobs he has done in Hollywood. He certainly has entertained us for many years, but that is not what he’s all about.

Tom Selleck may be a fantastic actor but he is also a family man. This can easily be seen by the relationship he has with his longtime wife, Jillie Mack. He is very proud of his relationship and considers it to be the most important thing in life.

When Selleck recently published a memoir, You Never Know, he spoke a lot about things that we may not have known about previously. For example, he talked about his career, which he considered to be an accident and his family, including his wife Jillie, son Kevin, and daughter Hannah.

It took him about four years to publish the memoir, so he had a lot to say about it. In speaking with a news outlet, he said: “I don’t have the hooks that a lot of people do. I didn’t rehabilitate myself or have this tragic life; I had my own share of certainly ups and downs, but I’ve been very fortunate.”

When he spoke about his path to fame in Hollywood, he admitted that he was never bitten by the acting bug. He just wanted something to do for work, and he happened to be a good actor naturally. He wasn’t trying to be famous, he was just trying to make a living.

When Tom speaks about his life, he tends to avoid the word celebrity and everything about it. Most actors try to live in the city and be in the public eye but he treats his acting career like a job. He goes there in the morning and then at night, he spends time with his family far away from the busy Hollywood scene.

In 1988, Tom and his wife had only been married one year and they bought a large farm in Ventura County, California. They tend to spend most of their time there together and love living a simple and private life.

In fact, Tom says that living a simple life is the secret to their long marriage. They are not only partners, they are friends and he loves his wife’s sense of humor.

He considers her to be his best support and teammate and he loves sitting beside her in the evenings as they read through the Blue Blood scripts.

Tom admits to being a good editor but says that he is one of the last people to see the script. It’s a lot of work, but he also enjoys relaxing little occasion.

“A cigar and a glass of whiskey is a nice way to end the day,” he shared. “I’ve had a very good life, a very lucky life. I don’t know if it’s what I figured I’d be doing, but it’s with a lot of gratitude.”
