Tim Allen reveals why he’s never trusted a human being as much as his “Toy Story” co-star Tom Hanks

Few actors and actresses are as well-known to the general public for their roles in television shows and movies as Tim Allen.

As the 69-year-old has occupied a prominent position in Hollywood for many years, neither critics nor admirers have had much to say about him.

It should be obvious that he’s made his fair share of friends over the years; after all, with the number of people Tim has worked with, you’d expect to have a who’s who of connections in your phone book.

However, the man claims that there is one individual in the entertainment industry that he trusts more than anyone else. It’s appropriate that he was portrayed by a male in one of the greatest children’s films ever.

Allen recently discussed his quick connection with the adored Tom Hanks during an appearance on the Kelly Clarkson show.

“He and I differ on so many things. I adore that man’s heart and mind,” Allen said of Hanks.

The A-list couple apparently recently went out and about together, sparking speculation that they may be developing a new movie.

“We’ve been going to lunch since Toy Story 1, two times a year, and we’re like two older women ’cause we will sit almost too close to each other at a booth,” Allen said.

In fact, Allen noted that Hanks had taken fries off of his co-plate star’s while they were filming Toy Story 1.

Allen acknowledged that he had never experienced it before, especially given that he had grown up in a household where it wasn’t customary to do so.

On his friendship with Hanks, who portrayed Woody to Allen’s Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story film series:

“And I don’t think I’ve ever trusted a human being as much as Tom to even listen to me and vice versa. We have very different opinions on so many things, but he’s gotten me to accept — he’s really a wonderful and engaging person. He’s the first guy to listen to me and doesn’t judge.”

It makes me feel good to see two such likeable individuals developing such a strong bond, I don’t know about you. Despite spending so much time at the top of their professions, Hanks and Allen have remained largely controversy-free.

That, in my opinion, speaks more to their moral character than anything else.
