The father lets his little daughter choose her outfit for the photo session. What she chooses is super surprising and funny…

We may all recall at least one of our worst photo days at school when we scoffed at the “additional” costume options our parents had provided. You’ll see a great dad in this video who let his daughter choose her own clothes for the picture day, and the internet applauded her decision.

Three-year-old Kaylieanne Steinbach is from Rocklin, California. Her father, Austin Steinbach, wanted her to look her best because it was the first time she had a picture taken at preschool. Although he had painstakingly chosen three wonderful dresses for her to wear, Kaylieanne had other plans. Her father had said in the video that he and his wife always wanted their daughter to “be as independent as possible,” and it’s clear that she’s moving in that direction.

Kaylieanne was born with both of her ears 75% deaf, but it doesn’t stop her from being confident in her day-to-day life. She usually has a really distinctive sense of style and wears whatever she wants to her preschool; you’ll notice that it’s somewhat unconventional, but in a positive manner. Her first picture day attire is equally outrageous, and the finished product is hilarious and adorably cute. See what she chose to wear for picture day in the video.
