The 60-year-old woman had been trying to have a baby for the past 20 years

This is the extraordinarily dramatic story of a 60-year-old woman from Serbia who spent the last 20 years of her life trying to have a child, but when she finally managed to have one, life gave her a heavy palm.

After 20 years of failed attempts, she had no hope, but this was the moment when she became pregnant with a little girl. Months later, little Alina was born and conceived through many fertilization treatments.

However, immediately after the birth, Atifa’s husband, Alina’s mother, left the woman. The man changed his mind when he heard the baby’s first cry in the maternity ward, then told his wife that he was too old to be patient with a crying baby.

This is how the woman was abandoned by her husband on the very day she gave birth.

Asked why he made such a gesture, the man replied briefly: “She got what she wanted, now she is happy.”

It seems that both parents had health problems, the father suffered from diabetes and heart disease, while the woman had high blood pressure, but the new mother is determined to take care of the little one alone.

The pregnancy was considered a risky one, which is why the woman spent the last 3 months of pregnancy in the hospital.

Alina’s father refuses to officially recognize her, and the little girl will not have the same last name as her father.

Atifa worked in a textile factory in her youth and has a small pension, but she honestly confesses:

“Whatever happens, whether Serif stays or leaves, I will raise Alina as best I can. I will live only for her. I know it won’t be easy, but I think there are a lot of people who will want to help me. ”
