Adan Canto is somebody who is known for his parts in some big television shows and films. This includes shows such as, X-Men, Bruised, and Design Survivor. Recently, he was also in the TV series, The Cleaning Lady.

Unfortunately, we have reports that actor Adan Canto has passed away as a result of appendiceal cancer. He had been fighting the disease privately for quite some time and died at the age of 42 on January 8, 2024.

A statement was released by WBTV and Fox, stating the following: “We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Adan Canto. A wonderful actor and dear friend, we were honored to have him as part of the Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment families since his U.S. debut in The Following more than a decade ago.”

The statement continues, “Most recently, he lit up the screen in The Cleaning Ladywith a powerful performance that showcased his artistry, range, depth and vulnerability. This is an unfathomable loss, and we grieve alongside his wife Stephanie, their children and loved ones. We will miss Adan dearly.”

He started acting in Mexico City, Mexico, and at first he was appearing in commercials. After he was cast on a Mexican show, Estado de Gracia, his acting career began to take hold.

It’s also interesting to note that he wanted to do more than acting. He had his own production company that he started in 2013, and has a few projects under his belt.

Canto is survived by his wife and their two children.
