SHOCKING NFL HQ SHOOTING: FORMER FOOTBALL PLAYER BLAMES BRAIN INJURY IN DEADLY ATTACK

A former high school football player, 27-year-old Shane Tamura, carried out a deadly shooting at the NFL headquarters in Manhattan, killing four people before taking his own life. Tamura had traveled from Nevada and left behind a note referencing possible CTE (a brain condition linked to repeated head trauma) as a reason for his declining mental health and violent actions.

The victims included an NYPD officer, with one NFL employee seriously injured but stable. The attack has reignited serious concerns about the long-term mental health effects of football-related head injuries, especially as investigators found evidence of Tamura’s past psychological struggles and extensive planning.
