Olivia Newton-John’s family reveal the truth a year after her death – she made contact beyond the grave

Olivia Newton-John passed away on 8 August 2022. She passed after a long battle with breast cancer at the age of 73 years old. Her death was announced in an emotional Instagram post by her husband John Easterling.

The post read, “Dame Olivia Newton-John (73) passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends. We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time,” he captioned the post along with a photo of a beaming Newton-John. “Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer. Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in her memory to the @onjfoundation.”

It is the one-year anniversary of Olivia Newton-John’s death and for the occasion, the Grease star’s daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, and her widower, John Easterling, both sat down for an interview to reveal a startling fact.

Lattanzi shared an incident a few weeks after the singer had passed. She said, “Two weeks after she passed my phone accidentally took a picture of my dog, and there floating by his head was a little blue orb, the same color as this,” said 37-year-old Lattanzi as she pointed to an aquamarine pendant necklace.

The necklace had been gifted to her by her late mother before she died. “Mom and I had talked years back. We’d watch these paranormal shows, and I’d say, ‘You gotta show up for me.’ And she was like, ‘I’ll show up as one of those orb things.’”

While 71-year-old Easterling had his own eerie incidents that he wanted to share. The widower traveled to Peru with his late wife’s ashes and stood at the same spot where they tied the knot on what would have been their 15th wedding anniversary.

“I took a picture, and this blue orb is right between my eyes,” he said. “It’s been a supernatural year.”

And it is not just her husband and daughter who remember the actress and singer, but also her contemporaries. John Travolta, who played the leading male in the movie Grease posted a birthday post on what would have been Newton-John’s 74th birthday. He posted a picture of the actress and simply wrote with it, “Happy birthday my Olivia.”
