NBC Reporter Loses It When A Herd Of Bison Comes His Way

When you are a reporter, you never quite know what you are going to run into from one day to the next. At times, it may be a somewhat slow news day and you don’t have much to talk about but on other days, you could go viral.

Deion Broxton is a reporter in Montana and he works for NBC News. They were preparing to shoot a segment when something happened that was totally unexpected. When he looked over, he saw a herd of bison and they were heading in his direction.

This happened at the Yellowstone National Park in Montana and the camera was set up and rolling when it took place. It happened shortly after the filming started when he saw the herd of bison and he reacted in a way that caused him to go viral.

Of course, the reporter could have done what he could to continue with the report, despite the fact that there was a herd of massive creatures heading in his direction. He wasn’t able to, however, but you could see the look on his face of exactly what was going through his mind.

He said: “Oh no, I ain’t messing with you.” Right after he made that remark, he grabbed the camera and headed for safety. By the way, that is exactly what he should’ve done according to the National Park officials.

Responding to the video, officials from the Yellowstone National Park said: “If you maintain a safe distance, wildlife will leave you alone. Our guess is that these bison weren’t acting aggressively, but were walking in Deion’s direction. He did EXACTLY what he should have done, which is maintain a safe distance by getting in his car.”

The moment was shared on Twitter and as you can imagine, it went viral very quickly. It’s nice to see something funny rather than all of the stressful news that we hear from day-to-day.
