It’s not out of the ordinary to see some fights erupt in the field of MMA. After all, mixed martial arts is right in the middle of the fighting arena, but this time it has an interesting twist.

Craig Jones, the Australian fighter was going to fight against Brazilian superstar, Gabbie Garcia. It was a mixed fight, and they were going to go head-to-head at the Craig Jones Invitational in Las Vegas.

Over the years, Craig Jones has had 55 wins and the 33-year-old fighter is considered to be one of the best in the world. 38-year-old Garcia, on the other hand, has 71 wins in the women’s division.

The two had agreed to an intergender fight in a judicial match because they had similar physical stats. Despite being female, Garcia is taller and heavier than Jones.

There was a face-off that took place before the big match, and this isn’t all that unusual. Garcia is standing over top of Jones and looking down on him and suddenly, Jones grabs her and kisses her on the lips.

A video of this has been circulating online and going viral. You can see the look of shock on the fighter’s face and suddenly, there is a pre-fight fight taking place. Jones is laughing, but Garcia is not laughing.

According to some reports, the kiss may have been staged to promote the fight but the footage is already out there. Many people are upset with Jones over what he did, calling it sexual harassment and agreeing that he crossed the line.

Garcia also spoke about this on social media, saying: “I’m more mad because he hurt my head than that he tried to kiss me. My head still hurts but look, it’s martial arts, right? Don’t blame the clown.

“Instead ask yourself, ‘Why do I keep going to the circus?’ I’m the clown or he’s the clown, but you’re going to the circus, right? You’re there for a laugh.

“If I didn’t want nobody judging me or talking s*** about me, or laughing about me, I probably would have stopped a long time ago, like 18 years ago.”

Later, it was announced that the fight between Garcia and Jones was canceled. It was later rescinded and they said that the fight was back on.
