One of the most intriguing people in Hollywood was certainly the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. With his groundbreaking dance moves, and lyrically genius beats, he paved a futuristic path for all pop artists who followed. As for his children, we introduce you to Bigi Jackson. Formally known as Blanket, he has taken on a whole bunch of talented genetics, not to mention the uncanny resemblance to his famous father. Micheal’s Marriages

One of the most iconic artists in our music history was none other than Michael Jackson. With his groove-busting body and gorgeous voice, he captivated the world with his many albums and performances over the many years of his famous life. Michael was married three times in his life. The world could not have found a more perfect match, for in 1994, Michael Jackson married none other than the daughter of the King of Rock, Lisa-Marie Presley. Despite their high-profile status, the union was short-lived, ending in divorce in 1996. the world was sore the day they heard the news of their separation.

It wasn’t long before Michael found love again. In 1996, Michael married Debbie Rowe. She was a nurse and a long-time friend of his. From their union came two children, a son named  Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, commonly known as Prince. As well as a daughter named Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson. However, the relationship between Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe also ended in divorce in 1999.

“Bigi” Jackson, Son of the King of Pop

Michael was only married twice in his life and allegedly sired two children from Debbie. However, he did have another child via a surrogate, who was never named. He named his third child Prince Michael Jackson II. He was born on February 21, 2002. This was five years after Michael Jr. There is a common confusion between his sons, thanks to the family nickname that he bestowed upon both boys. The difference is, that Michael Jr. is called Prince as a pet name, and his second son was given the name Prince on his birth certificate. Both sons go by different names. Michael Jr, is more commonly referred to as Prince and his second son was nicknamed Blanket.

Blanket, or Prince Michael Jackson II, kept out of the public eye for most of his life. This made him a curiosity to the world, one that we now have the priviledge of getting to know. Before the world finally got to know “Bigi,” his father kept him covered in a blanket. Hence the nickname, Blanket. “A blanket is a blessing, a way of showing loving and caring,” the King of Pop once said.

Blanket is now 21 years old, and he goes by a different name now. The world knows him now as “Bigi” Jackson, and he has grown into an uncanny likeness to his famous father. When he smiles, Michael Jackson’s fans swoon over his striking resemblance. Not to mention those deep-set eyes and prominent cheekbones. According to reports, Bigi Jackson struggled with his father’s death. He was only seven years old when he passed and reportedly stopped talking for some time after.

What is Bigi Up to Now?

Bigi Jackson did not follow in his father’s musical footsteps like his two older siblings. He decided to take his life into his own hands and chose a completely different path within the entertainment industry. The 21-year-old now lives in Calabasas, California, and has chosen a filmmaking career. In the 2012 Jacksonology: Our Story documentary, Bigi mentioned that he dreamed of becoming a director. This was something Michael Jackson allegedly supported. Growing up, Brigi loved to make little home movies around the house. They generally starred his siblings and cousins.

Bigi allegedly did not inherit his father’s musical genius. This was good for him, as he preferred to live a more private life. These days, he has seen his dreams of directing come to fruition. He owns a small production company called King’s Son.

A few years ago, rumors started flying around that Michael Jackson neither adopted his children nor that he was the biological father of all three of them. According to TMZ, “legal experts tell us Jackson would be presumed the father, but it’s not conclusive by any means.”
