Little Boy Doesn’t Want To Share His Pencils For One Hidden Reason

As parents, we want the best for our children. We do what we can to raise them to be responsible and well-balanced and, at times, that means getting creative.

That is especially true when we send them off to school. Our children are under a lot of stress, and it can be difficult for them not to give in to negative feelings.

A teacher by the name of Amanda Cox realized the problem for her students, and she did what she could to be a good influence. Still, teachers depend on the parents to do their part, and one young boy showed just how far his mom was willing to go.

Cox found out what was going on one day when she was running low on pencils. She asked the kids in the class to pull out the pencils they had, and they did.

There was one student that often brought pencils from his mother, and he asked the teacher if he could keep them. She said he could.

Eventually, the student decided to share some of his pencils. Cox went to sharpen the pencils, and that is when she noticed his little secret. His mother was writing on the pencils and sending them to school with her son.

When the teacher saw what the mother had done, she asked if she could see the rest of the pencils. What she saw melted her heart.

Here is a list of what the pencils said in case you can’t read them in the picture.

The teacher was so taken by what she saw that she decided to share the story on Facebook. It would be amazing if every student had access to those positive messages from their parents.

She said: “This probably took his mom a few minutes to do but lit up his whole day at school. He wasn’t embarrassed that his mom wrote on his pencils. Thanks to his mom, he was reminded of his self-worth and wanted to share the same feeling with his classmates.”

She also added that parents should remember that they are probably the only ones telling the kids what they need to know. This was a moment in time that really defined why she loved to teach.
