Lisa Kudrow: Major Factor Everyone Is Not Talking About

“Friends” star Lisa Kudrow is claiming she believes prescription medication is how her co-star, Matthew Perry, passed away while in the hot tub.

The 60-year-old actress is also reportedly planning on adopting Perry’s dog following his tragic death.

Lisa Kudrow Claims Medication Might Be How Matthew Perry Died

A source close to Lisa Kudrow is speaking out on her behalf, claiming that she thinks her “Friends” co-star may have died due to his medications.

“Although no one wants to believe it was medication – prescribed or not – of course that is a thought in their minds,” a source close to Kudrow told DailyMail.com.

“They are thinking he must have taken something that did not mix with the warm water,” the source added.

It is important to note that drowning was reportedly the cause of death, however, but this has not yet been confirmed by the coroner’s office. An autopsy has been completed, and toxicology reports will give more information regarding Perry’s death.

The actor struggled with addiction for a long time, however, it wasn’t until his memoir that he really opened up and let down his walls.

“[I was] at the height of my highest point in ‘Friends’, the highest point in my career, the iconic moment on the iconic show,” the actor when promoting his memoir last year. “When you’re a drug addict, it’s all math. I wasn’t doing it to feel high or to feel good. I certainly wasn’t a partyer; I just wanted to sit on my couch, take five Vicodin, and watch a movie. That was heaven for me. It no longer is.”

Perry said he had been clean for 18 months at the time, stating, “I’ve probably spent $9 million or something trying to get sober.”

Drowning has been named as the likely cause of death, however, this has not yet been confirmed. An autopsy has been set and will answer more questions regarding Perry’s death.
