Legendary actor found dead today in his California home

Famous for his parts in The Bodyguard, Night at the Museum, and New Jack City, the actor left the movie business. Bill’s brother Thomas G. Cobbs, who is also a pastor, confirmed the sad news on Facebook: “Bill died peacefully at his home in California on June 25.”Bill recently celebrated his 90th birthday with loved ones who he cares about a lot.

He is a devoted partner, big brother, uncle, surrogate parent, godfather, and friend. We are all comforted by the thought that Bill has found peace and eternal rest with his Heavenly Father.“ We ask for your prayers and encouragement during this time.” According to TMZ, it’s still not clear what killed Bill. Bill’s niece, Bethany Cobbs, shared a cute picture of him with his family earlier this month to celebrate his birthday.

With a smile on his face, the star sat down in a soft brown chair. Everything he did was for him! Fans sent well wishes to the actor’s family on X, which used to be Twitter.“ Never knew his name, he was in EVERYTHING, RIP,” one said. Another person said, “Mr. Bill Cobbs was a gentleman, an absolute legend, and a man of great talent.” TV, movies, and the stage will never be the same without him.

May he rest in peace and power forever.” “Thank you Mr. Bill Cobbs for following your dreams and sharing your gifts,” someone wrote.“What an amazing actor,” said a fourth. It’s crazy how many movies Bill Cobbs was in! His voice was great. “I will miss him very much,” wrote someone else.

BILL’S TASTEBill Cobbs was born on June 16, 1934, in Cleveland, Ohio.He was a radar technician in the US Air Force for eight years before he became an actor.At age 36, he ran away to New York to try to become an actor.He was the lead in many plays while he was in the big city.

The Taking of Pelham One Two Three, which came out in 1974, was his first role as an actor.Some of the TV shows he has worked on are October Road, The Outer Limits, The Sopranos, Walker, Texas Ranger, CSI, Criminal Minds, The Drew Carey Show, and The Outer Limits.

Some of his movies are Oz the Great and Powerful, That Thing You Do!, The Hitter, Trading Places, The Color of Money, and The Ultimate Gift.Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was his last movie, which came out in 2022, and his last TV show, which came out in 2020.Bill has been in over 100 movies and TV shows over the course of his successful career.
