Keith Urban Shocked The Audience When He Asked An 11-Yr-Old To Get Up On Stage

When a big star is up on the stage, they often want all of the limelight. On occasion, however, there is a celebrity that wants to share the limelight and Keith Urban is one of those individuals.

It isn’t out of the ordinary for Keith Urban to take someone from the crowd and allow them to come up on the stage to show off their talent. That was the case one time with an 11-year-old girl named Lauren Spencer Smith, and she did something that made the audience love her.

When she came up on stage to sing Make You Feel My Love, you could really tell that she was a star in the making. What is even better is how much chemistry there was between her and Keith when they sang together.

It happened at the 2015 Sunfest when Lauren came up onto the stage. Before he brought her up, however, he had some interesting things to say about her.

“She’s got an amazing little voice and she’s only eleven,” Keith says. “And I just wanted to sing with her so bad.”

When Keith holds a contest, he allows fans to sing for an opportunity to join him on the stage. Lauren didn’t win the contest but she did impress Keith enough that he allowed her to fulfill that dream of coming up on stage and singing before a crowd of people.

When she was up there, she did a great job and even the celebrity noticed just how good she did. It will be interesting to see where she takes this in the future.
