Most people who think of John Legend think about his music. They may also consider his marriage to Chrissy Teagan, as they have been a happy couple for more than a decade.

John Legend and Chrissy Teagan also have four children together, including a young girl who was born in June 2023. That child was born via surrogacy, and they make a very happy family together.

Like many celebrities, John Legend regularly posts on Instagram and he shares family moments with the world, and many people appreciate him for what he shares.

In a recent post, however, he was sharing a moment with his second youngest daughter, Esti Maxine and there were some who were not very happy. It seems as if he was preparing for the Academy Awards and he is walking hand-in-hand with his daughter, looking proud and both of them are very happy.

The problem was, John Legend wasn’t wearing pants. It’s not that he was inappropriately dressed, but there were plenty of trolls and controversy within the Instagram comment section.

Some said that they were uncomfortable and felt that it wasn’t appropriate for him to post that picture. Some were even saying that it looked like he wasn’t wearing underwear as well and that he should have some type of respect because he is a father.

There were also others who stood up for him, saying that he would’ve worn less on the beach and that it was just a happy moment showing typical family life.

Even Legend came on to respond and he had a lot of class when doing so. After sharing a picture of himself on the red carpet, he said: “Ok, I wore pants. Boy, did I wear pants.”

I guess you can please some people some of the time but you can’t please all of the people all the time.
