Groom Bumps Into Keanu Reeves At Bar And Reveals His Bride Has ‘Crush’ On Him, So He Drops By Their Wedding -

James Roadnight was shocked when he spotted Keanu Reeves while visiting the bar inside the Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa in Northamptonshire, England. While a lovely location, it’s hardly a place one would expect to see an A-list celebrity. James and Keanu chatted a bit, and the fan revealed that he was getting married later that day and that his bride also had a “crush” on Keanu. James also didn’t think it would do any harm to invite the movie star to join them at their reception, later on, figuring he was probably too busy to make it, but still wished to make the gesture.

“We didn’t know if he would or not but it was cool that my husband had spoken to him!” Nikki Roadnight, his soon-to-be wife, said.

Despite having a busy schedule, as he was in town filming a movie, the actor still found the time to take James up on his generous offer. Sufficient to say, Keanu made their wedding one to remember! Not only did the star show up, but according to Nikki, Keanu “took the time to speak to some of our guests.”

“My mum, Jo, took photos and shouted for everyone to yell ‘Speed!’ as she took the photo,” Nikki added. “We laughed about that as it’s one of his older films! We are big fans.”

Naturally, Nikki and James were delighted to share their photos on social media.

In fact, the blushing bride even changed her profile picture to one where she was alone chatting with Keanu…at least for a little while. When asked about it, she said, “Mr. Roadnight won’t mind just for a few days.”

Weddings are celebrations of love filled with joy, laughter, and happiness, and Keanu contributed more than his fair share by making Roadnight’s big day something extra-special.

“Keanu Reeves dropping by to say hello was just out of this world,” Nikki said. “Something to remember and the start of many more adventures together.”
