Fans spot eerie detail in Matthew Perry’s last post before his death – and now everyone’s saying the same thing

The entertainment industry is in mourning following the passing of TV legend Matthew Perry.

The 54-year-old, best known for his role as Chandler Bing in the ’90s smash-hit Friends, was found dead of an apparent drowning yesterday at his home in LA.

Reports state that the actor had played pickleball for two hours before returning home. He then sent his assistant out on an errand, yet the assistant returned two hours later to find Perry unresponsive in his jacuzzi.

Word of the star’s death was first reported by TMZ, who claimed that first responders had rushed to Perry’s property after a call for cardiac arrest.

The actor had battled drug addiction and alcoholism over the years, but reports say there were no drugs found at the scene, nor do authorities suspect foul play.

An investigation is now underway as to the cause of Perry’s death, though questions are naturally being posed online as to whether or not it had anything to do with his previous, well-documented troubles.

As stated, Perry had been reportedly playing pickleball on the day of his death, with a friend who joined him there now claiming that she spotted a warning sign just hours before his passing.

Not only that, but internet denizens have also brought attention to the Friends star’s last ever Instagram post, in which a rather unsettling detail appears to be present.

Six days ago, Perry posted a picture of himself in his jacuzzi, along with the caption: “Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I’m Mattman.”

Given that the jacuzzi is where Perry was rumored to be found unresponsive, certain morbid parallells are being drawn.

“The irony is heart-wrenching,” wrote one Twitter user. “Farewell, Matthew Perry, forever our Chandler Bing.”

OMG that’s chilling!! So Sad!” wrote another.

A third added: “This image is heartbreaking. May he now know peace.”

While a fourth wrote simply: “That appears to be a big hot tub. So eerie, lonely and sad. Wishing him peace at last and peace that passes all understanding to his loved ones, FRIENDS & fans.

In his memoir, released last year, Perry spoke candidly on his many struggles with addiction. He also addressed the subject of his weight gain after the conclusion of Friends, and appeared to be doing his utmost to get his life back on the right track.

I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we’re going to miss Matthew Perry enormously. Thanks for all the memories!
