For years, people have been thrilled with Ed Sheeran and they love his music. More recently, however, some fans are calling for him to be canceled after he had a picture posted online.

Sheeran was with a couple of friends enjoying a drink backstage at a concert and people are not very happy about it. He was drinking Guinness, and hanging out with Johnny Depp.

After the selfie was posted online with Depp and Sheeran, along with Russell Crowe, it seemed as if people just couldn’t handle it. They were enjoying themselves and getting some social time in at an Andrea Bocelli concert near Florence.

All three of them were smiling at the camera while they were taking a drink. Some other celebrities that were backstage at the show included Jaden Smith and his father, Will Smith.

After Russell posted the picture to his X account, people began commenting. The post was meant to be all in fun, but some of Sheeran’s fans were not happy to see him with Johnny Depp.

Ever since Johnny Depp was involved in the high-profile defamation case with Amber Heard in 2022, he has been considered a troublemaker. He won the trial, but there is a lot of controversy that surrounds it and some are even calling him a wife-beater.

People were so upset that they began asking if they could cancel him and some swore that they would never listen to his music again.

On the other hand, there were plenty of people who were thrilled to see them hanging out and having a good time.

I guess you can’t please everyone all of the time.
