Growing up in the intense spotlight that comes with having two well-known Hollywood actors for parents can’t be an easy thing.

The lives of Dylan Michael and Carys Zeta Douglas, the children of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, have been, to put it mildly, fascinating. Sure, you’ll probably never need for anything, and there are many worse places to be born into, but life has been rather exciting for them.

The media has followed Dylan and Carys’ development with fascination, with many people speculating about whether or not they would follow in the footsteps of their celebrated parents and become famous.

At least for Carys, it seems like we now have a solution.

Zeta-Jones has openly said that she would like for both of her kids to follow her onto the big screen, or at least try to.

The 49-year-old told Hello! Magazine in an interview: “When they’re on stage, you want to look at them. And they’re interested in the craft. My son wants to do a Bachelor of Arts in theatre. My daughter wanted to be a paediatrician until she was five, when she decided acting was better.”

Many people are curious to see how both kids develop because they both want to follow in their parents’ footsteps. For evidence, one just needs to consider the recent buzz surrounding Carys, who has drawn attention for the obvious reason that she is becoming more and more like her mother with every passing day.

The kid made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week the previous season, and the event received a ton of media attention.

Since then, she has kept a low profile, which is quite understandable given that she is just 15 years old, but this week, after she joined her mother to another fashion event, the radio quiet was broken.

At the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda women’s couture event hosted at the New York Metropolitan Opera House, Carys and Catherine were the stars of the show. Mother and daughter arrived in coordinated attire, and they posed for a number of photos that attest to their resemblance.

Carys is undoubtedly growing into a stunning woman like her mother. In addition, she seems to have a pleasant demeanor to match!
