Jasmine Crockett Brags About ‘Diva’ Status After Damning Report

Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett is embracing controversy — and the spotlight — with boldness. Recently, Crockett declared she has “arrived,” brushing off a New York Post article that quoted anonymous former staffers accusing her of berating employees, avoiding work, and being more interested in media appearances than serving her district. “As Beyoncé says, if they’re not talking about you, then you must not be doing anything,” Crockett said.

The freshman Democrat, known for her sharp tongue and unfiltered commentary, dismissed the accusations as “slander” and claimed her critics are motivated by her identity: “Being not only a woman, but being young, and being a Black woman… there’s a lot of scrutiny.”

Crockett has made national headlines for her attacks on Donald Trump, recently calling him a “piece of s—” and labeling the Supreme Court “complicit” in his behavior. Her outspoken style has won her viral attention but also drawn backlash — from both political opponents and former aides.

Meanwhile, Crockett faces a more existential threat: redistricting. A GOP-backed plan could dissolve her Dallas-based district, pushing her into a Republican-leaning area and threatening her seat. She calls it a “power grab to silence voters,” while Texas Republicans defend the move as part of a broader electoral strategy.

Despite the drama, Crockett remains defiant: “Your hate is my motivation,” she says, leaning into the “diva” label with pride — and a sense that, for her, controversy is just another stage.
