President Donald Trump was compelled to shorten his remarks during a press conference on Friday, which White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt abruptly ended.
Dr. Mehmet Oz, a television personality who was appointed to head the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) during Trump’s second term, was sworn in at the same time as the event.
The broadcast abruptly stopped as the briefing was coming to an end, and the screen went black.
FOX News reports that one of Dr. Oz’s children had to be escorted out of the Oval Office due to a medical emergency, which caused the press conference to end early. Read more below
