My MIL wants to buy us an apartment, but I don’t want her help. My husband says I’m ungrateful, but she’s a control freak.
Yesterday, I came home early to find her redecorating our room: replacing our bedsheets, getting rid of my grandmother’s mirror, and throwing out my makeup because she didn’t like the ingredients. I left in fury, knowing her ‘help’ is just another way to control us. Worse, my husband doesn’t stand up for me or see how she’s ruining our marriage.
