Princess Kate Is Back On Social Media With A Sweet Olympics Message

Many countries from around the world attended the Olympic Games but Princess Kate and Prince William were not able to attend. They did manage to give a sendoff to their Team GB athletes with a social media message.

The royal couple went on Twitter to congratulate everyone who competed in the Olympics over the past two weeks in Paris. There were also other celebrities who joined in, including David Beckham and Snoop Dogg.

A smiling Princess Kate said: “From all of us watching at home, congratulations to team GB!”

Prince William then added: “Well done on all you’ve achieved. You’ve been an inspiration to us all.”

Prince William was wearing a Team Great Britain Polo and was sporting a new beard for the social media post. Princess Kate was dressed more casually for the event. It was posted to their social media just before the closing ceremony.

“Well done @TeamGB,” they wrote in the caption. “What an incredible journey! Every athlete showed immense dedication, heart, and passion. You made us all so proud! Here’s to celebrating every triumph at @Paris2024 and looking forward to more from @ParalympicsGB later in the summer.”

Some said that that Kate would be able to attend the games but due to her cancer treatments, they could not commit to it. She has been undergoing chemotherapy the past few months and has not been taking part in her royal duties so she could focus on her health and her family.
